Chapter 651 has been active in the
Young Eagles Program since it's
inception in 1992.Our Chapter pilots
have volunteered their time and
aircraft to participate as Young Eagles
Flight Leaders and have flown over
2543 young people.
EAA goal is to have 1,000,000 young
people grace the skies by the 100th
anniversary of flight in the year
2003! As long as you're between the
ages of 8 to 17. Not only will you fly
for free you will also receive an
official Young Eagle certificate and
your name will be entered in the
world's Largest Logbook.
There has been more than 1.2 million
Young Eagles to date.

every month one hour 7:00pm to
8:00pm with various aviation celebrities.

Jim Jahnke,our past President that
passed away in 1994. Despite the
number of years with the program
he flew 352 young people. To honor
Jim our Chapter scholarship
program was named after him.
