About Our Chapter
Chapter 651 Has about 70 members
from Green Bay and the surround
area. Some of our members are pilots
with ratings from student to ATP.
others are aviation enthusiast or just
enjoy the social activity.
Chapter 651 is a active Chapter with
all kinds of opportunities to get
involved.We were the first Chapter to
start "Aero Mart at the EAA 7 years.
Chapter 651 has done mall shows to
promote aviation and our chapter
with static displays and educational
materials.
Young Eagles is a important event
for our Chapter giving young people
a chance to experience a ride in a
small airplane and maybe become a
future pilot or airplane mechanic.The
pilots in our Chapter have flown over
2,246 children since the program
inception.
speakers from every spectrum of
Instructor Noel Clark gives
educational and safety talks keeping
us current on any changes in FAR's.
Meetings are held the second Monday
of each month at 7:00pm .Our
meetings are at Nicolet Airport a
grass strip east of Green Bay off

May. During the summer we rotate
Aerodrome" July south "T's", Austin

Christenson "Hanger 4" at Austin At
our meetings we have guest Strabel

Our Chapter is commited to education
by offering scholarships to aviation
schools and sending kids to youth
camps at EAA grounds.The
scholarship was named for our past
President Jim Jahnke who passed
away September 1995.He flew 352
Young Eagles.
Other activities include fly-outs,
pancake breakfast and Fly-in's
